Half Filipino-Iranian. Professional Video DJ. I mix live visuals with audio in real time — no pre-recorded sets, no safety nets. Every gig is different because the crowd dictates where the night goes.

Started spinning in 2007 out of pure obsession with house music. Did private gigs for years before entering competitions in 2014 — made finalist in both Pioneer Digital DJing and the Viber Amateur DJ Competition at Republiq Club. Got mentored early on by Manulet Santos (DJ Papi), with additional guidance from Martin Pulgar and Mars Miranda during the Viber run.

The real turning point was 2016 when DJ Owen Cortez took me under his wing. Owen didn't teach me how to be famous — he taught me how to be good. The art of reading a room, building tension, knowing when to drop and when to hold back. He introduced me to turntablism, and from there I worked my way into venues like Island PH, Reserve Gastro Tavern, and eventually festival stages. The brand 'VDJ Maf Fereydouni' exists because of that foundation.
